Arctic Log Cabins combines the rustic charm of a traditional og cabin with modern comforts and an excellent location — on the southern slope of Kaunispää, less than 1 km from Saariselkä village. Each cabin offers everything you need for an unforgettable Lapland holiday — and, above all, at a reasonable price!
There are 12 cabins in total, all built from beautifully weathered kelo pine — a naturally aged, standing-dead pine tree that grows only in the Arctic. Kelo is highly valued for its durability, unique silvery appearance, and excellent natural insulation. Timeless architecture and natural materials create a cozy, authentic Lapland atmosphere that blends seamlessly with the surrounding nature.

By Car
Our cabins are easily accessible year-round. If you’re arriving by car, there’s plenty of free parking right in front of each cabin.
By Plane
If you’re flying, there’s a direct and affordable airport bus from Ivalo Airport to Saariselkä, with a bus stop conveniently located just next to the cabins – also perfect for your return journey. Link to timetables here.
Winter Transfer Service
In winter, you can also book a private transfer through us for extra comfort and convenience from the Ivalo airport and back. Cost 90 eur/one way.
By bus
When coming from Rovaniemi, ask the driver to drop you off at the Suopunkitie junction. From there, it’s only a 300 m walk to our cabins.

- Free cancellation if cancelled earlier than 28 days in advance;
- Full charge for the full stay if cancelled less than 28 days in advance.
Standard rules: May-June, October-November:
- Free cancellation if cancelled earlier than 14 days in advance;
- Full charge for the full stay if cancelled less than 14 days in advance.
In case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non- refundable.
